The event were ruled over the weekend by PocketFives.com members, which included by Norway’s KenshoSatori, who ranks second place in the PokerStars Sunday Million for $182,000. Schukie and coastalpgm who ended up 8th and 9th respectively with $18.6k and $13,100. Fazi of UK gathers down Stars Sunday Warm-Up for 142,300 during the weekend. Other poker pros followed to be the winner during the tournament.

For the Full Tilt Poker, it was headed by Taylor ElMastermind McFarland who was the official winner and take home for $176,900 as a result of a 3-way deal with gypsy tears who run second place, and THE UTE (3rd for $95,000). Last week the World Poker Tour (WPT) announced that they have added a second France stop to the 9th season for the year 2010-2011. The WPT Amneville will going to start on 30th of October and will be staged at the Casino Municipal D’Amneville, with the total of €3,200 + €300 for the Main Event that run between the 2nd of November up to the 6th.

The said event will be joining the Grand Prix de Paris on its ninth season as it stops in France. The WPT Grand Prix de Paris will take its flight at the prestigious Aviation Club in Paris. As the tournament continues the lucky winner of WPT Amneville will take home a WPT bracelet and a total of $25,000 seat in the WPT Championship that will be held at the Bellagio in Las Vegas.

Currently, the 2010 WPT Championship is heating up the table and will begin on April 24th. Only 35 players out of 195 will remain at four tables after three days. Leading with 1,841,000 chips is Shawn “Buck21? Buchanan, champion of the WPT Mandalay Bay Poker Championship in 2007, his tough competitors were Heather Sue Mercer (1,364,000), Robert Cooper (937,000), Matt “All In At 420? Stout (919,500), and Billy Baxter (887,500). The game will resume at the Noon Pacific Time as poker players gather down to take home $1,530,537 as the first prize.

This was not a seven-figure week for Tom “durrrr” Dwan and so with “Isildurl” mayhem. Generally accounts, is has been comparatively calm week on the front of the online poker, but still the high-stakes cash games at Full Tilt Poker have been producing big winners and losers from the past few days.

The two pokers pro Gus Hansen recently continued his hot streaks just like with “MicahJ” who has performed amazingly last six weeks with a profitable run. Women in Poker Hall of Fame Class of 2010 nominations are now in the hands of the poker playing public for the first time. The ceremonies will take its peak during Labor Day weekend in Las Vegas.

The submission will be valid until April 30th; eleven days after the final ballots will be proclaimed. For females to be qualified they must be an active player in the poker industry for 15 years, and has contributed to the world of poker in few important ways, this was according to the newly released information from Women in Poker Hall of Fame last week, this person could be a tournament winner or a great contributor in the poker world.

The candidates must be a proponent of women’s poker, for a unique change in the said nominations. In the past years, only members were allowed to vote, but now using the same manner of voting the public is also free to vote for their bets.

As the final ballot was complied and released, the voting process will also open for public. The public’s suggestion will be considered for the half of final identification; the nomination will be equally forwarded and will be using simple web form which is available on the Women in Poker Hall of Fame website. Voters should give their name and e-mail address together with three candidates.

The commencement for the Women in Poker Hall of Fame Class of 2010 will take its action on September 3rd at the Golden Nugget in Downtown Las Vegas; the ticket would be purchase online for $75 using major credit card, all tickets would be tax deductible.

Business is business for most people. They don’t mix any pleasure with business. Same thing goes through with PartyPoker, the third largest online poker site in the world. They have a new policy for nonpaying costumers.

PartyPoker will only allow up to 250,000 play money chips for those who play with no real money accounts compared to paying customers who have available cash balance who have no limit. This new policy was bombarded with negative comments. However, since they are nonpaying costumers, the management has all the right to change their policy without prior notice.

There has been an increase of number of people who enjoys this play money poker game and the new policy of PartyPoker made a lot of people feel bad.

Many poker players benefits from play money poker games. Most of them try to learn poker without the risk of losing their cash. Of course, no one wants to risk their days of hard work in a game they don’t know much. So play money sites give them the opportunity to play poker with no real money. After sometime, maybe a week, or months of learning, then it’s time for them to deposit real money and play poker.

Play money sites are not gambling sites since there is no real cash involve. However, after being passionately in love with the game of poker, most if not all decides to deposit real money in order to play poker. It is a unique way of advertising the game of poker.

It has been announced that this coming April 11-13 at Les Ambassadeurs in London will be the Bog Game IV of Party Poker and Matchroom Sport. The legend Isildur1 was invited by Tony G to the said event. He will even shoulder the flight and the hotel for the two day stay of Isildur1 in London including stake him totally for the 48 hour cash game. Everyone most especially Tony G would like to experience the brilliance of Isildur1 in the live tournament the way he does in online game.

Until this time, there is still no response received from Isildur1 if he is accepting the invitation or not but it is confirmed that Phil Laak and his lady Jennifer Tilly, together with Luke “Full Flush” Schwartz, Neil Channing, Laurence Grodin and Isaac Haxton the online stud. It is expected that if Isildur1 will join the event, it will surely make the already exciting event extra ordinary. However there is still no response at the moment from the Swede master.

Matchroom Sport’s managing director Eddie Hearn said that if Isildur1 wants to join the event but is not willing to expose his identity, then they can make arrangements so he can play with a mask or in disguise. They are willing to make extra effort just to see the action of Isildur1 in live tournament.

Six days of poker action and finally the Commence Casino where the World Poker Tour LA Poker Classic was held crowned the winner for the tournament. Out of the 745 players who were hopeful for the crown, and would take home the $1.7 million prize only one went home in victory.

The lickiest among all the players was Andras Koroknai. He also won a seat in the WPT World Championship this coming April with over $1.7 million first-place prize. The win gave Koroknai the title being the first Hungarian to win a WPT Event that is televised.

The heads-up play was a sweet and quick. Koroknai possesses a 13-to-1 chip lead to the brother of a professional poker player Tim Phan, Raymond Dolan. During the final hand, Koroknai decided to move all-in from the button and Dolan made a call. With the efforts made by Dolan, he went home with $ 1,002,710.

Sadly to say, Michael Kamran was the first to be eliminated at the final table and was followed by J.C. Moussa. The fourth place eliminated player was Gevork Kasabyan. He was defeated by Tri Huynh however Huynh was not able to keep up with his good game and ended up in the third place.
