Six days of poker action and finally the Commence Casino where the World Poker Tour LA Poker Classic was held crowned the winner for the tournament. Out of the 745 players who were hopeful for the crown, and would take home the $1.7 million prize only one went home in victory.

The lickiest among all the players was Andras Koroknai. He also won a seat in the WPT World Championship this coming April with over $1.7 million first-place prize. The win gave Koroknai the title being the first Hungarian to win a WPT Event that is televised.

The heads-up play was a sweet and quick. Koroknai possesses a 13-to-1 chip lead to the brother of a professional poker player Tim Phan, Raymond Dolan. During the final hand, Koroknai decided to move all-in from the button and Dolan made a call. With the efforts made by Dolan, he went home with $ 1,002,710.

Sadly to say, Michael Kamran was the first to be eliminated at the final table and was followed by J.C. Moussa. The fourth place eliminated player was Gevork Kasabyan. He was defeated by Tri Huynh however Huynh was not able to keep up with his good game and ended up in the third place.
